Our mission

Speech & Motion Therapy strives to provide speech and occupational therapy services in a dynamic and stimulating environment to empower children and adults to achieve their maximum potential.

Core goals

Our experience has taught us that family involvement and education is vital because the most effective and important therapy takes place outside the walls of the therapy room.  Our goal is to ensure that caregivers are active participants in the planning and implementation of therapy to help clients reach their goals.

Not only is family involvement important but a team effort is also just as important.  Our goal is to collaborate with all of the client’s team members: doctors, teachers, administrators, caregivers, and other service providers to provide clients with cohesive and effective treatment. We provide speech therapy and occupational therapy to provide continuity of care and if possible and appropriate, we provide co-treatments between disciplines and/or back-to-back sessions to simplify your family’s life.

Each client bring with them their individual strengths and weakness, no two are alike. Our goal is to implement personalized, quality services, which are custom designed to meet the needs of each client.

We understand difficult and long work to acquire or restore skills; we believe that it is our job to make sure clients don’t feel as if it is hard work at all!  We use toys, movement, music, and other creative incentives to motivate clients to give their all each and every therapy session.

What to Expect when Initiating Evaluation or Therapy Services:

For evaluations or therapy services, please call our office at 281-242-1117. Upon the initial phone call, we are happy to schedule therapy session(s) if you are able to provide us with a copy of an evaluation report within the last 6 months. If an evaluation is needed, we will gather basic information from you regarding you or your child during this phone call.

  • Insured Clients: Insurance information will be needed to allow our office to verify in-network or out-of-network benefits for therapy.  Once the benefits have been discussed with you, the evaluation or therapy will be scheduled.
  • Private Pay Clients: Schedule therapy or an initial evaluation
